THE EQUIPMENT THAT YOU RECEIVE WITH THE COMPLETE TRAINING PACKAGE
The Pro Complete Kit
The heart of all LeakTronics Kits, including the Pro Complete Leak Detection Kit, is the LT-1000 Amplifier. LeakTronics research and development team has engineered this phantom powered device to deliver highly sensitive listening capabilities and works to power all the listening technologies you’ll find in the Pro Complete Kit.
We start our leak detection with a full pool, clear water and the equipment turned off. The weight of the water in the pool pushing out of a crack, leak, pipe separation, pinhole or crevasse makes a noise. The whooshing sound resembles that of a freight train, and when you have your PoolScope near it, it’s loud! The closer you are to leak, the louder it gets, and this lets the user hone in on the precise areas of leaks. Precise, effective and non-invasive leak detections are how professionals solve customers leak problems and get paid.
The Pool Scope is our first go-to piece of equipment for finding leaks. It is the number one tool in the Pro Complete Kit for finding leaks. It’s industrial strength cable, weighted head and multi-use functionality is used to listen for leaks on drains, at lights and skimmer throats, in skimmers and at side suctions, along structural cracks, tile lines and cold joints. We even use it to listen through pool and spa walls and with it, you’ll identify most of the leaks in a pool system in short time.
The Pipe Mic, a smaller version of LeakTronics omni-directional hydrophones lets users get inside return lines, skimmer ports and slot drains where space is smaller but leaks still occur. It is equally as powerful as the Pool Scope but offers more maneuverability in tighter areas of the pool environment.
When it comes to sub-surface listening, the Pro Complete Kit includes a Deck Plate with an incredibly sensitive flat surface area that listens up to 6 feet underground for the sounds of leaks. Listen through concrete, brick and coping, on patios and decks and solid surface areas including hard dirt.
The Soil Probe is a multi-functional and versatile piece of equipment that lets the user listen through soil, landscaping, aggregate and soft surfaces where handling noise might sound scratchy on the surface of the Deck Plate. The Soil Probe is ergonomically designed to let the user listen without bending and stooping to hone in on areas where pipes and plumbing run underground. It has a super sensitive pointed tip that lets the user break the surface, past grass, plants and stones and listen directly through the ground that separates the user from leaking pipes.
The kit also includes a Pressure Rig for pressure testing and injecting air and water into pipes. When an isolated pipe has proven to be losing pressure, by injecting air and water into the line, you’ll produce the boiling sound of a leak. With the DeckPlate and Soil Probe , you’ll find those leaks accurately and know exactly where to dig to make repairs. It reduces the otherwise invasive methods you might use to find a leak in a buried line. Know right where the leak is and make repairs there.
The Pro Complete Kit includes a small hand held Inspection Camera with dye injectors to see inside of light niches, plumbing that runs away from the pool, drains and even skimmers where you can back up your findings using dye. See the ingestion of dye and water and know all about the leak you’re going to bid repairs on. Want to show your customer the issues and let them know what you’ve found? The Inspection Camera lets you do that.
Included in the kit are plugs, a waterproof flashlight and a small mirror that helps to see what’s leaking and gets the job done fast. Through years of experience, these tools have proven time and time again, to be what aids in being fast and effective methods for identifying leaks. It’s all in the kit because we use them every day.
The Pro Complete Kit is used throughout the swimming pool industry on concrete, gunite, fiberglass, composite and vinyl liner applications, water features, spas, waterfalls, fountains and more. It includes everything a professional leak detection contractor needs to perform swimming pool leak detections and is the one kit with all you’ll need to launch your leak detection services today.
The Hand Held Video Pro 1.5 Pipe Camera
The Hand Held Video Pro Camera for 1-1/2 inch Pipes offers one of the best visual aids in the industry for seeing clearly inside pipes. The Hand Held Video Pro 1.5 is an invaluable tool for any leak detection professional, especially pool technicians who deal with smaller diameter pipes and plumbing lines. With the HHVP 1.5, you get high resolution sight in pipes just 1-1/2 inches in diameter with the ability to corner around 90 degree turns. Because the camera includes a digital metered counter, you’ll know how far into the pipe that the camera head is. Find the leak and measure out the distance. You’re ready to make repairs.
LeakTronics Patented F.L.A.S.H Leak Locating System identifies leaks from within lines and transmits a signal at the precise location of the leak. What’s better, it’s the only equipment of it’s kind that can identify multiple leaks in the same line. The F.L.A.S.H. unit can be used to locate leaks and pipe separations in swimming pools, plumbing, HVAC and gas lines, water mains, sewer and a multitude of other applications. It can be used in lines ranging from 1 to 60 inches in diameter.
Because you already own the LT-1000 included in the Pro Complete Leak Detection Kit, this add-on pack gives you all of the FLASH leak Locating Equipment to get the job done while working seamlessly with your LT-1000. The FLASH add-on comes in it’s own water resistant hardshell case.
The SM-1 Side Mic – For Precision Listening on Vertical Surfaces
The LeakTronics Side Mic (SM-1) is a superior uni-directional microphone made specifically to listen to vertical areas in a pool. This includes light niches, conduit, side suctions, returns, and structural cracks among others. Due to the SM-1‘s unique build, the user is able to hone in with increased accuracy on areas in question, making leak sounds more crisp, clean and identifiable with ease while reducing ambient background noise. it’s the perfect addition to the Pro Complete Kit and makes a welcomed addition to any professional’s arsenal of equipment.
The FLASH Stick
The FLASH Stick is designed by LeakTronics to locate the FLASH Head on sub-surface pipes and plumbing. As leak detection professionals, we strive to adapt technology to benefit the user. In situations where pipes run alongside the pool shell, listening underwater through pool and spa walls is sometimes necessary for accurate leak detection.
Because standard 512 hz. receivers cannot be submerged, the FLASH Stick was designed to use the benefits of underwater products coupled with the superior technology of LeakTronics FLASH System. The FLASH Stick is manufactured by LeakTronics specifically for pool professionals who use the FLASH and need a submersible technology that finds the precise location of leaks from underwater, even through pool and spa walls.
