Description
LeakTronics Professional Static Test Cones are used to test lines in swimming pools and spas without the need to pressure test the line. The cone-shaped body fits any type of piping material (copper, PVC, PEX, Poly, galvanized pipes, etc) up to 2 inches in diameter.
When testing multiple lines which are tied together to one source, simply put one of each cone in each line at the structure. Put the cap on the cone with the hole in the bottom and put the cone in the last pipe. Simply put dye in the front of the hole. If the dye is pulled in, there is a leak in one of the lines. If the dye simply lingers in front of the hole or is pushed away from the pipe, this is an indication that a leak does not exist in the lines being tested. If you determine there to be a positive pull, the next step is to pinpoint the leak in the line with your LeakTronics Leak Detection Equipment.
