In this episode of Turning Leak Detection Into Repair Work, we’re in Thousand Oaks, CA with an unusual situation. We are repairing an entombed spa jet in concrete, in a shared wall between the pool and the spa.

We listened to the sound of the leak with the spa full, then dye tested to see the pull, then drained the spa. We pressurized the plumbing and listened using the DeckPlate in our Pro Complete Kit, isolated the area of the leak and marked where we would cut.

Opening the area around the spa jet, we were able to use pressure to see where the leak was, you’ll see it bubbling out in the video. We did the repair, re-packed the cut area with cement and put on a Pebble patch to closely match the area of repair.
