TL Quick Lock Hydraulic Cement
PRODUCT DETAILS
Quick Lock is a non-shrinking, fast-setting hydraulic cement used to cover staples, fill cracks, or patch holes in cementitious applications. Since Quick Lock can also be applied underwater, it allows for quick repairs of very small leaks.
Surface Preparation
The area must be clean and free of any dirt, paint, dust, or grease. Use a V-shaped channel whenever possible to ensure optimal adhesion. Dampen the area before application (when not underwater).
Application
Mix one part water with three parts Quick Lock in a bucket, stirring continuously until it reaches a dough-like consistency. Warm water will speed up the setting time, so only mix what you need for a 3 to 5-minute working period. Use a trowel, sponge, or gloved hand to press the material into a crack or onto the substrate you're working with, shaping it to the desired form. Dampen the patch for roughly 10 minutes afterward to prevent cracking.
CAUTION
WARNING - THE EYE IRRITANT CONTAINS PORTLAND CEMENT. The product is alkaline when in contact with water. Use a paddle for mixing to prevent splashing into eyes or skin contact. During mixing or application, avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse your eyes thoroughly with water and CALL A PHYSICIAN. Wash thoroughly after handling and before smoking or eating. Do not ingest or swallow. CONTAINS FREE SILICA - DO NOT INHALE DUST. Prolonged exposure to dust may cause delayed lung disease (Silicosis https://www.lung.org/lung-health-and-diseases/lung-disease-lookup/silicosis/).
